Dog Town Venice Skatepark Grand Opening

On October 3, 2009, the veil was lifted on the skateboard heartland’s new 17,000 square foot, beach-side, skatepark. The park was designed by the Wormhoudt team. Man, I wish I coulda been there opening day. Now a reason to get back to SoCal. Enjoy this little clip:

Transworld Chicago Park Jam

Last weekend the Osiris Team hooked up with the Enjoi Team in Chicago for the second annual Chicago Park Jam.

Here they are at Wilson skatepark blasting ollies over hot dogs (defeatinglast years record of 25 with a hefty 32.5 to be exact):

Memorial service for Eric Stricker

On Tuesday September 29th, a memorial service for Eric Stricker will take place at the Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois.

Eric was an editor for TWSkateboarding Mag and  passionate skater. Eric died on Thursday, Sept 24th—allegedly from a heart attack. RIP E.S.
