Memorial service for Eric Stricker

On Tuesday September 29th, a memorial service for Eric Stricker will take place at the Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois.

Eric was an editor for TWSkateboarding Mag and  passionate skater. Eric died on Thursday, Sept 24th—allegedly from a heart attack. RIP E.S.

Dylan Rieder Styles it up in a Time to Shine

This is one of the more soulful segments from Transworld’s Video, A Time to Shine. Dylan Rieder does the usual smooth, huge tricks expected of an awesome pro, but he also have a creative style that is often harder to find these days. Dylan is an inventive skater with mad tricks. Andy Kessler Dies

Andy Kessler, an old school New York skater and huuuuge advocate to skating, died of an allergic reaction to a an insect bite.  A great article on Andy and what it means to be a skater in NYC and a skater in general is here…in the New York Times.
